The Tenants' and Users' Liability Insurance Policy (“TULIP”) is designed to provide a general liability insurance option to third party users of Oregon State University facilities. It protects both the Facility User (the third party) and Oregon State University against claims by third parties who may be injured or experience damage as a result of participating in an event. Events may range from seminars, receptions, or weddings to festivals and concerts. Note that some events may not be eligible for coverage.
TULIP may be purchased ONLY when the event takes place in an Oregon State University owned or leased facility or property.

Facility users may need to obtain coverage from another insurer if their event does not qualify for the TULIP program. Facility users are also welcome to use other insurers to purchase general liability insurance. When doing so, please ensure the certificate of insurance has Oregon State University, its officers, board members, employees and agents listed as additional insured.
